One of the highlights of a recent trip to the upper Mid-West was a visit to Green Bay, Wisconsin, and to Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.
We took the guided tour early in the morning ... it was well worth the admission price to see behind the scenes in the stadium, and view the playing field from ground level. Current seating capacity is 73,128.
Also recommended is the Packer Hall of Fame, a 25,000-square-foot area where you can see, touch and feel over 90 years of Packer football history. Included are abouty 80 exhibits including three Super Bowl trophies and a re-creation of Vince Lombardi's office.
Green Bay is a small town, but offers a variety of hotels and other lodging in the area.
